Scammers got 15 milllion Euro |
According to Vladimir Basov, Head of International Crime Division of Interpol in Russia, in 2006 Russia-based marriage and dating scams cost their international victims overall 15 million Euro. He announced this Tuesday on a press-conference in Moscow.
We remind our clients to never send any money to persons you have not met in person and call us if you see anything suspicious. Regrettably, Internet scams are growing, getting more sofisticated and widespread, making Internet less safe for everybody.
Especially those free or close to free large dating sites are ridden with scammers, because those sites do not have any resources or motivation to perform any kind of checking.
We are pleased to report that our site is virtually scammer-free, as we check and monitor all profiles. |
